Lochnagar Barossa

3 couples mid winter stay enjoyed 3 bedrooms each with en suite bathrooms made for a very comfortable stay Positive: Great location 20min walk to Murray St & 5min walk to Langmeil & Peter Lehmann wineries. Good ducted heating throughout plus wood burner stove for a very comfortable mid winter stay. Generous breakfast provisions far more than a starter pack. Well equipped kitchen.

Our go to place in the Barossa when staying with friends. Positive: Hosts leave goodies in generous quantities for breakfast. Pantry well stocked with other condiments. Fire place is very welcome on cold nights. This is our third stay here and have also recommended the facility to other friend who have also stayed. Negative: The shower enclosure in the first 2 bedrooms doesn't stop water from splashing all over the place. Need to tumble dry bath mats every time and mop the floor to use the toilet. Guests staying in first bedroom on the left suggested the mattress was lumpy and may need replacement.

Perfect property to have as a base to explore the Barossa Positive: The welcome wine was a nice surprise. We really liked that the house was in a quiet spot but not too far out of town centre. Happens to be a short walk from one of our favourite wineries...... We didn't use the bikes but would when we go back. I think it would be a great place to stay with kids, especially enjoying that beautiful big lawn and outdoor area. Really liked that we had our own bathrooms as well. Negative: I felt secure enough, but my friend felt exposed with no side fence. Everything else was wonderful.

Enjoyable and relaxing stay, highly recommended Positive: Clean, comfortable, spacious, well laid out. Good amenities. Negative: Maybe just a little far to walk from the centre of Tanunda.

Love the place and will come back next year with our friends. Positive: Kitchen supplies exceeded expectations Negative: No hot water on the last night and morning of leaving. First bedroom on left - shower enclosure dismal and offered no protection from shower water onto surrounding floor.
