Miss Mabel Cottage

Amazing cottage Positive: Loved the quaintness of the rooms and the history folder. Beds were comfortable. Well set up with equipment and some staples. Negative: Trying to unlock door, had to phone Jane and she helped us through it. Took a while to find how to get ino the yard. Need as sign at corner to let people know it is Miss Mabel's and to enter from the next street.

Positive: The history of the house The size of the property meant that it was a very peaceful place to stay Negative: Possibly having access to a washing machine would be good, but the availability of a laundromat was OK All linens were provided, accept wash cloths.

Positive: Great provisions. Lovely set up. Beautiful gardens and house. Negative: Had trouble using the keypad entry, but was able to get phone help to work it out. Would help to include the specific instructions we were given in the message that was sent on the morning of check in. (Pull the door handle hard towards you as you key in the code)

Positive: The garden was lovely to wander around in and the cottage history was interesting. Miss Mabel has a very well equipped kitchen and the bath was lovely. Negative: Some instructions on how to use the fire there would be useful for people who have no experience with doing so.

Positive: Cosy cottage, combustion wood fire, was delightful. There was milk+ juice , + condiments supplied. Information on history of cottage +Burra was interesting reading. Clare wineries only 40mins away.
