Burra Railway Station BnB

Really enjoyable time in the country and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Positive: It was a fantastic place to stay for the weekend, especially if you're a train buff! Burra was such a surprise as well, there was so much to do we'll have to head back with the kids. Negative: The only thing we struggled with was the lack of signal and internet in the house, likely due to it being worked on, if I remember correctly. Honestly though, it was a welcome forced downtime from phones.

We can go thoroughly recommend staying at Burra Railway Station. It was a wonderful place to relax and in a fantastic lo Positive: We loved the location. It was very quiet. Everything we needed had been thought of and provided. The fireplace was very welcome as the weather was cool during our stay. Having said that the aircon worked well too. Negative: Nothing!

Top class B&B A must if staying in Burra. Positive: A fantastic getaway with everything you could want. Plenty of provisions for brekky. The owners had the fire set and ready to lite & there was plenty of kindling and wood for the following night. There was even some sherry provided - really nice to have sitting on the couch in front of the fire. The cottage had plenty of room and was very warm and cosy. Bed was comfortable. Furnishings suited the era of the station. Kitchen was well fitted out for self catering. Negative: Wifi wasn’t working. Nowhere to hang clothes.

A beautiful place to stay. Beware no Wifi. Positive: Beautifully done and comfortable. Negative: This B&B is advertised as WIFI available in all rooms this is not the case at all. I received a message from the owners the day before saying that there were issues with the wifi owing to restorations. There were no restorations going on and gathering by the guest book there has been issues with the wifi for years. We required wifi for our business so it was a little frustrating. My point is don’t advertise something you cannot provide.
