Burra Railway Station BnB

Top class B&B A must if staying in Burra. Positive: A fantastic getaway with everything you could want. Plenty of provisions for brekky. The owners had the fire set and ready to lite & there was plenty of kindling and wood for the following night. There was even some sherry provided - really nice to have sitting on the couch in front of the fire. The cottage had plenty of room and was very warm and cosy. Bed was comfortable. Furnishings suited the era of the station. Kitchen was well fitted out for self catering. Negative: Wifi wasn’t working. Nowhere to hang clothes.

A beautiful place to stay. Beware no Wifi. Positive: Beautifully done and comfortable. Negative: This B&B is advertised as WIFI available in all rooms this is not the case at all. I received a message from the owners the day before saying that there were issues with the wifi owing to restorations. There were no restorations going on and gathering by the guest book there has been issues with the wifi for years. We required wifi for our business so it was a little frustrating. My point is don’t advertise something you cannot provide.

The perfect 4 day stay in this beautifully restored old historic Railway Station. Positive: Loved the combustion wood fire and quiet location. Rooms were comfy, spotless and beautifully decorated.

Good morning breakfast and juice coffee tea did not require anything. It was all supplied.
