House was clean and cosy. Easy to communicate with our host and pass on information. We really enjoyed the fireplace! An excellent place to stay while enjoying the history of the region, the house itself is packed with gems of insight into the rich heritage Burra enjoys. Definitely recommended!

We had a great long weekend, warm as toast with the wood fire burning. The bed was really comfortable, and we had everything we needed.

Well located and cosy, with a lovely garden to sit and enjoy a cuppa with the birds.

Highly recommend this Historic Cottage . Near town (walking distance) and serene. Beautiful gardens compliment this house . Everything we needed was there. Beds comfortable, warm, it has a fireplace but we didnt use it. Functional kitchen , and nice relaxing lounge area. So much History in this cottage and an EX Premier of the state owned it at one point . Plenty to see in the town , grab the Burra Pass, its well worth it. Very clean and neat place .
